In order to follow Bearded Vultures after their release a network of volontary observers was established across the Alps with a central data base in Haute-Savoie (F). From the beginning of the project the public has been extensively informed about the reintroduction through exhibitions and media.

The project's goal is the establishment of a completely independent Bearded Vulture population in the Alps.
